Not a lecture series. A simulated floor assignment: you are a first-year analyst on a fictional deal team, with real scenarios, real numbers, and real decisions. Each module drops you into a fictional live transaction with the models, the deadline, and the judgment call. One-time purchase, lifetime access. The complete suite adds the Live Deal week in London.
Nobody puts “I bought an online course” on their LinkedIn. The complete library gives you something specific to describe: every model, every simulated live deal, and one week of assessed deal work in our London office. It is how serious candidates prepare for Analyst-level work in London, New York, Zurich, and Stockholm.
The Live Deal week: one week in our London office, in a cohort of twelve. You take an Analyst-level placement on a simulated deal team, working a training case modelled on a real transaction, while senior bankers assess your models, your deck, and your judgment. It is professional training, not employment: there is no client work and no work for any bank.
You leave with senior-banker feedback and graded deal work you can point to when you apply for roles at banks and funds.
Each simulation gives you the models, the deadline, and the judgment call. You work the problem end to end and decide at each step what the model can honestly support.
A $450M IPO Simulation
Seven days before a simulated $450M IPO launches, you find a buried memo: the gross margin the deck promises is not real. Work the problem the way a banker has to.
A $17.8B Merger Simulation
A simulated $17.8B all-stock merger where the accretion math only works at a financing rate the market will not give you. The filing is due in 72 hours.
A Leveraged Buyout Simulation
A private equity firm wants the target at 6.5x EBITDA leverage. Build the LBO, stress the debt waterfall, and find the covenant that breaks in year three.
A Series C Simulation
A simulated $220M Series C with a 3x liquidation preference and full-ratchet anti-dilution. Model the waterfall to exit and see who actually gets paid.
A Hedge Fund Redemption Simulation
Five clients trigger early redemptions at a fictional fund before dawn. Map the risk, model the liquidity spiral, and learn how fund structures behave under stress.
Every course runs in the Academy's own deal platform: models you build line by line, a football field that redraws as your assumptions move, decision points with consequences, and mentor commentary at the moment you need it.

Screens from the course platform. All companies, deals, people and figures shown are fictional and exist for training purposes only.
Every student at Swiss Finance Academy gains access to a purpose-built learning platform. Inside your portal, you will find the full course structure, assignments, progress tracking, and direct channels for feedback.
Progress Dashboard. Track your completion across technical modules, case studies, and live assignments.

Peer Access. Connect with your cohort, ask questions, share insights, and build a network inside the platform.
Self-paced. Modules are worked through on your own timeline with lifetime access to every model and update.
Swiss Finance Academy is headquartered and administered in Switzerland. Programs are delivered online to participants around the world.
Projects require thorough research of the related subject matter, careful analysis, and creative problem-solving. They are based on firm valuations, public offerings, M&A transactions, and equity research.
Teams create detailed valuation models and prepare written recommendations before negotiations with the counterparties, combining corporate finance and competitive strategy.
Complex, practical problem-solving experiences: a distressed debt negotiation, a hedge fund strategy, or a research project on the bond market.
Work is assessed on thoroughness of research, quality of analysis, creativity of recommendations, and quality of written deliverables.

A valuation walk-through from the course materials: the football-field chart that lays competing valuation methods side by side. The deal modules put you inside exactly this kind of analysis, with a deadline attached.
The full program: modelling, deal structuring, and graded casework over 6 or 9 months.
The companion book on how companies are valued, marketed, and sold.
One-to-one guidance from a senior finance professional.

The suite also includes the Live Deal week: one week in our London office in August, in a cohort of twelve, taking an Analyst-level placement on a simulated deal team while senior bankers assess your work. It is a training week, not employment: there is no client work and no work for any bank. Dates and availability are confirmed by admissions at enrollment.
